This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit unityacademy.com (the "Site"), how it is used, who it is shared with, and the rights you have over it. The Site is operated as an independent affiliate review and resource and does not collect or store personal financial information.

1. Who we are

The Site is published by Software Automated LTD, the publisher behind a portfolio of independent reviews of products listed on Whop.com. Contact: themaxyao [at] gmail.com. This Site is not Unity Academy and is not operated by Unity Academy or Whop, Inc.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide

The Site does not require an account. We do not run forms that store personal data. If you email us, your email address and message are received and stored in the operator's email account, used only to reply.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Analytics: page URLs visited, referring URL, timestamp, country/region (derived from IP, not stored), device type, browser family, screen size, performance timings.
  • Server logs: standard web logs at the hosting provider (Vercel) including IP address, request path, status code, and user-agent. Logs are retained for diagnostic purposes per the host's policy.
  • Affiliate referral: when you click a link to whop.com, Whop's systems record the click and the affiliate code a=digitalartlab. The Site itself does not store who clicked what.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site uses a small set of cookies, set by analytics services we embed. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings without losing any content access on this Site. The Site itself does not set advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party trackers beyond analytics.

4. How we use information

  • To understand which articles are read and which need improvement.
  • To detect and prevent abuse, spam, and security issues.
  • To measure the rough effectiveness of affiliate referrals (aggregate, not per-user).

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for marketing.

5. Data retention

Analytics data is retained for 14 months in aggregate form. Server logs are retained for 30 days. Email correspondence is retained for as long as needed to handle the matter, then deleted.

6. Sharing

Information is processed by these service providers acting on our behalf:

  • Vercel - hosting and edge delivery.
  • Google Analytics 4 and/or Vercel Analytics - aggregate traffic measurement.
  • Whop, Inc. - receives the click and affiliate code when you follow an outbound Join link, governed by Whop's own privacy policy at whop.com/privacy.

7. Your rights

If you are in the EEA, UK, California, or another jurisdiction with data-protection rights, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information that we hold. Email themaxyao [at] gmail.com; we will respond within 30 days. Because the Site does not store personal accounts, requests are typically limited to email correspondence and analytics opt-out instructions.

8. Affiliate disclosure

This Site participates in the Whop affiliate program. Outbound links to whop.com include the identifier ?a=digitalartlab. If you join Unity Academy via these links, the Site receives a commission at no additional cost to you. This relationship is disclosed on every page.

9. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any change. Material changes will be highlighted on the home page for at least 14 days.
