WHO RUNS THIS SITE
Hi, I'm Max. I run a small portfolio of independent review sites covering crypto and trading communities. This site, unityacademy.com, is dedicated specifically to Unity Academy, the $99.99/mo Whop community known for OracleAlgo, daily signals, and a 12-analyst team.
I am not employed by Unity Academy. I am an independent affiliate, which means if you join Unity through links on this site, I earn a commission at no additional cost to you. I write what I actually think because long-term trust matters more than a single conversion.
My credentials
Reach me on Twitter (public profile to be confirmed at launch), by email at themaxyao [at] gmail.com, or via the contact form. I publish reviews of crypto trading communities on Whop. I am a paying Unity Academy member; this review reflects time inside the community as of the last-updated date.
How I evaluate trading communities
Every review on this site is scored against the same six-factor rubric. Each factor is weighted; I publish the score with the review.
- Education path (15%): Is there a real beginner-to-advanced curriculum, or is it just a signal feed?
- Analyst transparency (20%): Are the people running the community named, with track records you can verify?
- Signal quality (25%): Do signals include entry, stop-loss, and take-profit, or are they just hot takes? What is the documented win rate?
- Community culture (10%): Is it supportive and rigorous, or hype-driven?
- Risk discipline (15%): Do leaders model risk management, or chase moonshots?
- Pricing fairness (15%): Does the value clearly exceed the monthly cost for the typical member?
Why I cover Unity Academy specifically
Unity has a few things most $99/mo communities lack: a proprietary indicator with real risk parameters baked in (OracleAlgo), 12 named analysts instead of one charismatic founder, a structured education app, and Whop-handled billing that makes cancellation painless. The combination is rare. That is worth a dedicated review site.
Honest about the affiliate model
If a community I cover stops being good, I update or de-promote my coverage. If you ever feel I have oversold something, email me. The whole point of an independent review site is that it stays independent. Specific commitments I make:
- No paid placement. I cover what I have actually used.
- Failure modes are called out in every review (the "what works against you" section).
- The last-updated date on every page is real. If a review is more than 90 days old, it gets re-reviewed before the next update.
- Negative comments and feedback in the comments / on Twitter are linked, not deleted.
